On the same day the organization recalled that Hyon expressed his stand of defying the people's demand for his resignation under various pretexts.

This is nothing but a poor excuse, it said, terming as a sheer nonsense his assertion that he had no responsibility for the recent situation surrounding the Human Rights Committee as it was created by a third person.

The organization held that the chairman of the committee should own due responsibility by stepping down in the light of the reality today when its members are tendering their resignations one after another in protest against his behavior.
