The U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces are scheming to stage another provocative war games though the warship "Cheonan" case was dismissed as a conspiratorial farce designed to invent a pretext for aggression on the DPRK, the statement charged, and said:

Nowadays such affirmative changes have taken place between the north and the south of Korea as holding of inter-Korean Red Cross talks and reunion of separated families and relatives on the initiative of the DPRK government.

But, under this situation the south Korean authorities seek to stage the Hoguk war exercises for aggression with the U.S., which reveals again their foul looks as a stooge of the U.S. and as traitor and war maniac.

The exercises, a criminal act of aggression for provoking another Korean war, are pushing the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war.

We support all the measures taken by the DPRK to protect its sovereignty and extend solidarity to the Korean people in the patriotic struggle to achieve the reunification of the country by the united efforts of the nation.
