The statement said that all Koreans are filled with confidence and will to get united under the banner of "By our nation itself" and achieve the independent reunification, peace and prosperity on the occasion of the said anniversary.

After its formation Pomminryon has steadily advanced along the road of national independence and great national unity despite the persistent repressive moves on the part of the U.S. and the anti-reunification forces, it noted.

Underlining the need to realize the national reconciliation and unity through strict implementation of the inter-Korean declarations and wage an anti-U.S. struggle for independence on a wider scale, the statement called on all the fellow countrymen to get united under the banner of "By our nation itself" to achieve the national reunification at an early date.
