The factory finished the major projects including large-scale pellet anthracite production process to establish the Korean-style system of producing fireproof materials and increase its production capacity. This helps the DPRK turn out at will quality magnesia clinker and light burned magnesia by means of anthracite abundant in the country.

Control programs suited to the features of pellet anthracite production process and process of producing light burned magnesia through gasification of anthracite have been developed to build a computer-controlled system for pellet anthracite production process and kiln.

Besides, the processes of producing tile, brick and packing container with by-products from the course of magnesia clinker production, etc. were built at the factory to lay a solid material and technical foundation for processing and utilizing the raw fireproof materials in an overall way.
