The school preferentially provides its football group with all training conditions.

The football group has steadily improved training methods, strengthening education in basic football techniques to suit schoolchildren's physical and mental qualities.

The school has won national football contests of primary schools several times.

Many of the boys and girls who learned basic football techniques at the school are now active in juvenile sports schools and local sports teams.

Some players of the DPRK teams which won the Asian U-19 and U-16 Football Championships some time ago are graduates of the school.

Kim Song Nam, a sports teacher of the school, told KCNA that the school would continue making a good job of training reserve footballers.
