The statement accused the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group of staging the war maneuvers codenamed Hoguk targeted against the DPRK despite the repeated warnings of the world progressive mankind.

It continued:

The military exercises are acts of not only escalating tension but seriously threatening peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia. They are a provocation to the DPRK.

The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea bitterly condemn the provocative war moves of the U.S. and south Korean warmongers.

We strongly demand the U.S. and the south Korean authorities halt at once the above-said saber-rattling.

We extend full support to the Korean people in their struggle for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
