The statement noted that the party is following with deep apprehension the situation of the Korean Peninsula which is put at military confrontation.

It charged that south Korea and the United States have issued news reports contrary to the stand of the DPRK.

Those who do not wish for the stability of global and regional situation are making ill use of the facts, the statement pointed out. The party holds that all measures needed for peace and stability should be taken at once, it said.
