Exploits of Kim Jong Suk Admired

| Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- The Peruvian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung issued a bulletin on Nov. 16 on the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine. The bulletin edited articles under various titles, carrying photos of the President, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Suk. In an article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Suk, heroine of the Korean people" the bulletin noted that she, woman commander of Mt. Paektu, devotedly safeguarded Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese war and brought up Kim Jong Il to be the sun for brilliant future of Juche Korea. The Korean people will always remember Kim Jong Suk who performed great feats for the revolutionary cause, the bulletin said, adding that her exploits for the country and the nation will remain forever. The bulletin also carried articles on the successful conclusion of the Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and the WPK's 65-year-long history of victory and glory. |
