Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The dangerous saber-rattling kicked off by the south Korean puppet forces, supported by the above-said nuclear carrier, far from drawing a lesson from the recent reckless provocation is a blatant challenge to the demand of the Korean nation and the international community for immediately defusing the tension prevailing on the Korean Peninsula and ensuring peace and a deliberate and premeditated move to push the acute situation to the brink of an all-out war at any cost.

This is, in fact, as reckless as adding fuel to the fire.

It is in pursuance of the carefully worked out scenario that the south Korean puppet forces started the dangerous combined naval exercises together with the U.S. in the wake of their grave armed provocation in the West Sea of Korea. The above-said naval maneuvers kicked off by the warmongers at home and abroad go to prove that the puppet forces' military provocation in the territorial waters of the DPRK side was no more than a prelude to the operation to escalate the moves for an all-out war on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities are making an uproar over "provocation" from someone and the like in a desperate bid to tarnish the image of the DPRK and escalate the international racket to stifle the DPRK.

However, the U.S. and the puppet warmongers' escalating war moves in the West Sea of Korea patently prove that they are the heinous provocateurs and arch criminals threatening peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

The U.S. and the puppet warmongers are sadly mistaken if they calculate they can browbeat and pressurize someone by getting the nuclear carrier involved in the war maneuvers.

They would be well advised to properly understand the will and mettle of the DPRK to wipe out the enemy and stop going reckless.
