Thanks to the wise leadership and meticulous care of President Kim Il Sung the factory has turned into a machine-building base capable of successfully manufacturing any latest type machine if it is determined, he said, adding that the revolutionary exploits performed by the President in establishing the Juche-based machine-building industry would be recorded with brilliance in the history of the country.

After being briefed on the factory before a big map showing a panoramic view of the factory, he went round various workshops to learn in detail about the technological updating and production there.

He highly appreciated the feats performed by the workers of the factory intensely loyal to the party and the revolution, noting that it is a great success that they waged a dynamic drive for updating the existing equipment by fully displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance, thereby replacing them by the equipment that reached the cutting-edge level while economizing a huge amount of funds.

Noting that it is a signal success that the workers of the factory have put the production processes on a modern and scientific basis by their own efforts and with their own technology through a high-pitched drive to push back the frontiers of the latest science and technology, he stressed that this eye-opening leap forward is a demonstration of the fighting spirit of the workers of Ryongsong taking the lead in strictly adhering to the socialist principle, the revolutionary principle despite any severe tempest and advancing in the van of the socialist cause in the same spirit as displayed during the Arduous March and the inexhaustible strength of the heroic Korean workers.

The DPRK could successfully realize the socialist industrialization in so brief span of time and lay a solid foundation of the independent national economy as it is strongly backed by many powerful machine plants such as the Ryongsong Machine Complex, he said, adding that the cause of building a thriving nation is sure to triumph thanks to the Juche-oriented machine-building industry.

He set forth the tasks to be carried out by the factory.

Seeing different kinds of building materials and daily necessities made by the factory by making an effective use of by-products, he said that the quality of the products is very high. He praised the workers of the factory for such spirit of serving people as working hard to improve the standard of people's living.

He made the rounds of the newly built dining-room of workers and supply service facilities to take care of their living as their real father would do.

The signal successes made by the factory in recent years are attributable to the fact that its officials have scientifically conducted the overall management of the factory including production, development of technology and supply service on the principle of profitability in keeping with the principle of the socialist economic management, he noted, adding that it is of weighty importance in speeding up the advance for a great surge for the officials to scientifically and minutely conduct the economic operation and business activities.

He expressed great expectation and belief that the workers of the factory would bring about uninterrupted innovations and leap forward in the van of the drive for effecting a revolutionary surge in the efforts to build a thriving nation under the uplifted red flag of the revolution.
