The message said that the Korean people are rejoiced over many successes made by the Lao government and people in the efforts to achieve socio-political stability and economic development of the country and improve the standard of people's living under the leadership of the party.

The message expressed belief that the bonds of traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow stronger in the future, too, wishing him success in his responsible work.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun sent a similar message to Thongloun Sisoulth, vice-prime minister and foreign minister of Laos.
