The art troupe put on the stage such colorful numbers as female trio "Song of Mangyongdae", female folk solo "Hoeryong in Spring", song and dance "Cuckoo on Road to Front", dance "Flame at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex", female soprano "Socialist Land of Bliss", violin duet and pangchang "I'll Be the Flower to Herald Spring", violin ensemble "Push Back the Frontiers of Latest Science and Technology", mixed duet and chorus "Juche Iron Is the Best", female trio and chorus "Higher and Faster" and mixed quintet and chorus "Under the Banner of the Party".

After the performance was over, he waved back to the enthusiastically cheering performers and audience and congratulated the artistes on their successful presentation.

He expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the artistes of the art troupe staged a splendid performance rich in its ideological contents and high in artistry with numbers of great cognitional and instructive value. He highly estimated the feats performed by the art troupe, noting that it has created a lot of art works rich in their ideological contents and high in artistry as required by the new century by steadily giving full play to the WPK's unique creative principle and style which were embodied in creating the five revolutionary operas and thus creditably discharged its mission and duty as a true creator and a steadfast defender of socialist culture and arts.
