Displayed in the venues of the events were books showing the immortal revolutionary feats of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu, photos on their revolutionary activities, books and photos introducing the Korean people's struggle to build a thriving socialist nation and achieve the reunification of the country and handicrafts representing the wisdom and skills of the Korean nation.

The general secretary of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy said in his speech that under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il the Korean People's Army has played a great role in the defence of the country and socialist construction, shattering the war moves of the U.S. imperialists and all hues of hostile forces against the DPRK and demonstrated its might as an army strong in thinking and faith.
