Ri Il Jin, Kang Nam Gwon and Ri Kwang Il who played a big role in the recently held Asian Under-19 and Under-16 Football Championships are all active in the group.

Such boys as Hong Yong Jo, Ri Jun Il, Choe Chol Man, An Il Bom, Ri Myong Jun and such girls as Yun Hyon Hui who have distinguished themselves in international football tournaments were also trained in the same group.

Rim Chang Do, who is one of the group's officials in charge of football, told KCNA that both the male and female youth football teams of the group won the titles several times at the sports contests for Mangyongdae Prize and Pochonbo Torch Prize and youth championships. The group would continue concentrating on training many up-and-coming footballers to contribute to developing the nation's football techniques, he added.
