The bulletin said in an article that Kim Jong Il has a view on armed forces centered on servicepersons. He said that a battle is fought by soldiers, not by arms, servicepersons are the main elements in forming armed forces and a driving force for a revolutionary war and the combat capability of an army and its victory in a war hinge on how they are prepared.

Kim Jong Il mastered a lot of books clarifying the essence of modern military science and theories and published famous works and talks on them, the bulletin said, noting that under his leadership all servicepersons of the Korean People's Army are united as firm as a rock and it achieved the unity of their ranks in thinking and purpose which no nuclear weapons can ever break.

The KPA will always demonstrate its might as invincible revolutionary armed forces under the leadership of Kim Jong Il who has an outstanding view on armed forces, the bulletin concluded.
