Present there from the DPRK side were the foreign minister and his party and Ambassador to Russia Kim Yong Jae and from the Russian side Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksei Borodavkin and other officials concerned.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Russia, the situation on the Korean Peninsula and other issues of mutual concern.
