Referring to the danger of war increasing on the Korean Peninsula as the days go by, the declaration accused the Lee Myung Bak "government" of staging madcap war exercises, while letting loose bellicose remarks.

It held that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to the brink of war because of the authorities' such policy of confrontation with the DPRK as staging various forms of exercises for a war of aggression against the DPRK and bringing the inter-Korean relations to collapse.

It declared that the students would take the lead in the anti-"government" actions in order to preserve peace and achieve democracy on this land.
