The Evangelist Church of Germany (EKD) urged the south Korean authorities to stop all military actions, saying that the crisis of the peninsula should be settled in a diplomatic way.

The United Church of Canada (UCC) stressed that the tension of the peninsula should be eased through negotiation and dialogue.

On the danger of a war growing on the peninsula, the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) stressed the need to replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty at once in order to prevent such dangerous developments.
