Youth and Student's National Solo Vocal and Recital Contest Held

| Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A national vocal solo and solo recital contest of youth and students took place at the Central Youth Hall from December 15 to 21 on the occasions of the 19th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's gaining of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 93rd birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. The contest brought together at least 300 youth and students selected from the contests held here and in various provinces, cities and counties. The participants fully displayed the artistic skills they cultivated through their mass cultural and art activities. They successfully represented revolutionary songs with rich voice and played various musical instruments with refined skills. An art performance was given by the successful entrants on Wednesday. |
