Audience included senior army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of armed forces, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service members of the KPA and working people in Pyongyang.

Present there on invitation were overseas compatriots, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, diplomatic envoys of various countries and representatives of international organizations here and members of the military attaches corps.

The concert began with overture to orchestral music "Cantata to Comrade Kim Jong Il." The colorful performance included orchestras "General on a Galloping White Horse" and "Unforgettable Echoes over Lagoon Samil" and string orchestra for pizzicato "The Country Is So Good."

Musicians successfully represented the dynamic leadership with which Kim Jong Il has steadily glorified President Kim Il Sung's Juche cause of army-building and the undying feats he has performed by developing the KPA into a-match-for-a hundred revolutionary armed forces, bringing about a signal change in building a thriving nation and ushering in a heyday of the prosperous country.
