The promulgation of the socialist constitution marked a historical event of great significance in the political life of the Korean people and in the efforts to accomplish the socialist cause of Juche.

The President's exploits performed in the nation-building have been firmly preserved and successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il made sure that the First Session of the 10th Supreme People's Assembly reorganized the state machinery in the DPRK into the system putting main emphasis on national defence and clarified that the socialist constitution is Kim Il Sung Constitution, reflecting the fresh requirements of the country and developing revolution. This marked a historical event of epochal significance in holding Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the eternal President of the DPRK and successfully realizing his idea and cause.

Kim Jong Il has led the work to thoroughly embody the President's last instructions into state building and activities and successfully realize his idea and cause. These exploits of Kim Jong Il were recorded in all pages of his Songun revolutionary history in which he developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea, indicating the road of socialism and consolidating the single-minded unity in every way and building the DPRK into a rich and prosperous country under the banner of Songun.

Thanks to his Songun leadership the DPRK is shedding its rays as a socialist land of bliss where the President's desire for building a thriving nation is becoming a reality.

The socialist cause of the DPRK is sure to triumph as long as there are the seasoned and tested leadership of the great WPK, the single-minded unity of all the servicepersons and people around the headquarters of the revolution and the invincible revolutionary army of Mt.
