Rodong Sinmun on Revolutionary Life of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The long history of the Korean revolution, which started and advanced with arms, tells about the great exploits and immortal revolutionary career of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk, who remained true to President Kim Il Sung's cause of Songun with arms all her life.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined article.

Kim Jong Suk embarked on the road of the revolution in her teens and devoted her all to the sacred cause of Songun for the independence of the country and freedom and liberation of the people until the last moments of her life, the article says, and goes on:

It was her firm belief that the goal and value of the Korean revolutionaries' life is to become a fortress to safeguard Kim Il Sung politico-ideologically and at the risk of their lives.

His safety means the security of the country and the primary task of the armed revolutionaries is to reliably defend his authority and prestige. This was the revolutionary faith of Kim Jong Suk.

True to her pledge made when taking arms of the revolution, she carried her arms in her hand till the last moments of her life and glorified her life as a revolutionary. Her feats for building the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces can be found in that she took pains to accomplish Kim Il Sung's cause of army building including building of air, navy and tank forces with Korean characteristics.

Her noble spirit can be felt in the stamina of the invincible revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu and the history of the defence industry of the DPRK which is able to produce any up-to-date weapons at its will.

As the closest comrade-in-arms of the President, Kim Jong Suk stood in the van of faithfully upholding his Songun idea, wearing military clothing of the revolution all her life. Her immortal life serves as the most valuable treasure for the victorious advance of the Korean revolution and as a noble paragon for glorifying the life of revolutionaries.
