Book on Medicinal Herbs Published

| Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The book "Korean Medicinal Herbs" (two volumes) has been brought out by the Medical Science Publishing House of the DPRK. The book is based on findings concerning ingredients, pharmacological actions and usage of some 1 500 medical plants. It, made up of parts like origins, plants, pharmaceuticals, ingredients, pharmacological actions and usage, gives profound explanations of medical plants as well as reference materials. It is conducive to manufacturing good medicines with medicinal herbs abundant in Korea and developing Koryo medicine. |
