At the news conference the organizations accused the "government" and its followers of turning on the light on a light-tower in the western sector of the front on Dec. 21 as part of the anti-DPRK psychological campaign.

This was a breach of the agreement between the south and north military authorities which bans any psychological campaign in the areas along the Military Demarcation Line, they said, and went on:

The psychological campaign stepped up by the Lee Myung Bak group in the forefront areas under the pretence of the Yonphyong Island shelling incident is aimed to ignite a war in this land at any cost.

They urged the Lee Myung Bak regime to stop at once the psychological campaign which may spark off the south-north military clash.
