Paektu Hot Spring of a belt shape is about 300 meters long and ten meters wide along the shore of the lake at the foot of Janggun Peak.

Its maximum temperature is 73 degrees C and average 53 degrees C.

Its pH is 7.0 and total amount of mineral matters is 2 351.06 milligrams per liter. It is efficacious for chronic bronchitis, arteriosclerosis, nervous disease and other diseases.

At the foot of Paekam Peak in the northern part of the lake, Paekam Hot Spring gushes out in all seasons, the maximum temperature 46 degrees C and average 40 degrees C.

Its pH is 7.0 and total amount of mineral matters is 841.47 milligrams per liter. It is good for arthritis, dermatitis and other diseases.

Rakwon Hot Spring has medical value as great as Kangso mineral water.

They are all sodium bicarbonate springs.
