On Dec. 31 last year they presented him with the letter reflecting their will to operate the complex at full capacity to bring earlier the emergence of a thriving nation, proud of surpassing the peak year of cement production last year.

They noted in the letter that they honored their cement production plan for last year till October, the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea, that is two months ahead of schedule, and surpassed the peak year of cement production by the end of the year, adding that this was entirely ascribable to Kim Jong Il's wise leadership, meticulous care, profound trust and love.

They renewed their determination to wind up as early as possible the overhaul of the production equipment including cement kiln, increase production at their fuel, raw material and power bases and join efforts with related enterprises and thus ensure a satisfactory supply of cement necessary for the building of a thriving nation.
