The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna in a statement on Jan. 6 recalled that the joint statement proposed having wide-ranging dialogue and negotiations with the political parties and organizations of south Korea including its authorities.

Declaring that the organization would make positive efforts for the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula, it urged the authorities, political parties, organizations and personages of various strata in south Korea to positively respond to the DPRK's proposal.

The Group for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea of Democratic Congo in a statement on Jan. 10 demanded the south Korean authorities respond at an early date to the proposal to weather the present difficulties and usher in a new phase of peace and reunification of Korea.
