Kim Yong Nam Conveys Sympathy to Brazilian President

Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Saturday sent a message of sympathy to President of Brazil Dilma Vana Rousseff in connection with the flood and landslide caused by the torrential rain that hit the southeastern part of the country, claiming huge casualties and material losses.

Kim in the message expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the president and, through her, to the residents in the afflicted area.

The message expressed belief that the President and government of Brazil would eradicate the aftermath of the natural disaster and bring the living of the afflicted people to normal as early as possible.
