DPRK's Stand for Reunification Supported

Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Megawati Soekarnoputri, chairwoman of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, hailed the principled stand and sincere efforts of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.

We are sure that the Korean people under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il will successfully carry out the tasks laid down in the joint editorial for this year and win a decisive victory in accomplishing the cause of national reunification, she said on Jan. 12 when meeting Jong Chun Gun, DPRK ambassador to her country.

She also expressed sympathy with the DPRK's joint editorial, saying that the outstanding leadership ability of Kim Jong Il was demonstrated on the highest level last year.
