S. Korean Minister of Unification Urged to Opt for Dialogue
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Hyon In Thaek, south Korean minister of Unification, should lend an ear to the voice of the nation and come out for the earliest dialogue and improvement of relations between the south and the north, the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification said in a commentary on Jan. 13.

Hyon set a "doorsill of dialogue" on Jan. 11, doubting whether the DPRK was "sincere" when it made the proposal for dialogue and negotiation, according to the commentary.

It blamed him for questioning the "sincerity" of the DPRK which called for ending confrontation and holding dialogue and negotiations for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula out of broad magnanimity.

Hyon has totally denied the June 15 joint declaration and suppressed the democratic forces working hard to reunify the country by pooling efforts of the Korean nation, it said, querying is he entitled to talk about "sincerity."
