300 Literary Pieces Created
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Korean writers created more than 300 literary pieces in the New Year. They waged agitation for increased production in different fields of the national economy.

Those of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea went to the Pyongyang Textile Mill, the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and other units in the capital while those of North Hamgyong Province, South Phyongan Province, North Hwanghae Province and other places to the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex, the Migok Cooperative Farm in Sariwon, etc.

Typical poetry includes "We Are Descendants of the Great Leader" and "With the Spirit of Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Spirit of Korea" and prose writings include "At the Riverside of Pothong" and "Coalfield Alive with High-pitched Drive".

More than 200 wall poems were put on display at worksites.
