Chief of S. Korean Human Rights Committee Urged to Resign

| Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity against Discrimination of the Handicapped in south Korea urged Hyon Pyong Chol, chairman of the Human Rights Committee, to resign. At a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 14 the organization revealed he egged the police on to punish under criminal law its members who tried to get the bill on support for the activities of the handicapped enacted. Greatly enraged at it, the organization vowed to wage an action till he steps down. |
