The declaration said that all the people unanimously hope to turn into sea of peace the West Sea of Korea where military clash and tense situation persist.

They are now living in suspense due to the danger of a war that may break out at any moment, it said, adding: The very one responsible for such situation is the present "government" which denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

It urged the authorities to stop slanders and calumnies and war maneuvers inciting confrontation between compatriots and opt for dialogue and negotiations with the DPRK as soon as possible.

The way for removing the war crisis and ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula is to strictly implement the north-south declarations and replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace agreement, it stressed.

It called upon all Koreans to come out in the struggle for peace and prosperity of the peninsula.
