AU to Boost Relations with DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The member nations of the African Union have long-standing relations with the DPRK and hope to continue boosting them, Chairperson of the Commission of the AU Jean Ping said. He received credentials from Kim Hyok Chol, new permanent representative of the DPRK at the AU, on Jan. 13. He praised the proposal of the DPRK for improving the north-south ties this year. He hoped that the DPRK would make success in its efforts to defuse tension and achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula. |
