DPRK's Proposal Backed in Bangladesh

Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- Political parties and social bodies in Bangladesh called on the south Korean authorities to accept the important proposal of the DPRK. They also urged south Korea to come out for the earlier dialogue and negotiations. They included the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the Bangladesh People's League and the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee.

In a joint statement on Jan. 14 they fully backed the consistent stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK to improve the north-south relations, promote the national reconciliation and unity and open a turning phase of peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and negotiations.
