Rohekele Andre, president of the Working Citizens' Association of Democratic Congo, and Youssef Amin Wali, vice-chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt, were elected chairmen of the committees respectively at their inaugural ceremonies.

The preparatory committee of Democratic Congo decided to hold diverse events to widely introduce the greatness of Kim Jong Il while the Egyptian preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events during the period from Jan. 16 to Feb. 16.
