KFA Urges S. Korean Authorities to Accept DPRK's Proposal

| Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- The authorities of south Korea should discard their dependence on foreign forces and lend an ear to the call of the Korean people for independence and reunification. The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain made this demand in a statement on Jan. 17. The joint statement of the government, political parties and organizations of the DPRK embodies the idea of "By our nation itself", the core of the June 15 joint declaration provided under the far-reaching plan of General Secretary Kim Jong Il for national reunification, the Association said, adding: If the south Korean authorities do not accept the proposal of the DPRK, they would face a stern punishment by history as traitors. |
