It is capable of producing tens of millions of glass bottles for diverse uses a year. It has a good prospect of its development as it depends on raw materials found in abundance in the country including white silica, feldspar and silica sand.

Min Kwang Yong, 47, who is manager of the Nampho Glass Bottle Factory, said that he had a plan to boost the production by lifting its modernization to a higher level and improving the level of producers' technical skills.
