DPRK Anniversaries to Be Commemorated Abroad

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Preparatory committees were formed in Nigeria and Nepal on Jan. 20 and 21 to commemorate the Day of the Sun, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, and February 16, the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. The committees elected Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party and former deputy president of the Senate of Nigeria, and Dambar Shrestha, minister of Land Reform and Management of Nepal, to be their chairmen. They decided to hold colorful political and cultural events on those occasions. |
