Dialogue between North and South of Korea Urged

Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Dialogue and negotiations between the north and the south of Korea are the only way for settling the issue of the Korean Peninsula, said a Russian organization.

The Karelia Branch of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK said in its statement on Jan. 21:

To ease the tension constantly prevailing in the peninsula and ensure peace and stability there is the desire of all Koreans in the north and the south and overseas. Herein lies a way for national prosperity.

The south Korean authorities should respond to the DPRK joint statement calling for discussion over the issues related to the important cause of the nation and do their utmost to this end.
