The contest, divided into the group of secondary schools and the group of primary schools, brought together hundreds of school youth and children selected from different parts of the country.

Boys and girls of Chonggye Secondary School in Rason City and those of Yongnam Primary School in Kilju County and Hungdok Primary School in Hamhung City placed first in team standing respectively.
