French to Observe DPRK Anniversaries

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- A French preparatory committee was formed in Paris on Monday to commemorate the Day of the Sun, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, and February 16, the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. The committee elected Andre Aubry, delegate president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, to be its chairman. It decided to hold colorful political and cultural events, including a meeting, lecture, seminar, film show and photo exhibition, in the period from February to April. |
