The materials used for making their cores are stronger than effervescing steel in terms of various values including tensile strength, elongation percentage and impact value. They fully ensure the mechanical strength of welded structure in welded part test and the test of nonmetallic substance left there.

The establishment of the process for the production of the above-said materials for the cores of welding rods led to cutting down the cost for producing welding rods 75 percent as compared with that in the past.

The above-said technology is successfully introduced to the Pyongyang Steel Works, the Pyongyang Elevator Factory and other factories.
