Officials of the Korean Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee have completed the layout for the venue of the festival, posters and diplomas according to the theme of the festival "February when Kimjongilias are in full bloom is the spring for all people to sing praises of Kim Jong Il." Efforts are now being exerted for decorating the venue in a peculiar manner.

Kimjongilias are now coming into beautiful bloom in every greenhouse despite unusual long spell of cold.

Service personnel of the Korean People's Army and officials of the Ministry of People's Security have thousands of potted Kimjongilias ready for display.

Officials of the ministries of Light Industry, Agriculture, Metal Industry, Railways and Chemical Industry are busy cultivating flowers and preparing peculiar stands for their display.

Potted Kimjongilias are doing particularly well in the greenhouses of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, the General Bureau for Service to People and the Taehung Guidance Bureau where thorough measures are taken for ray, temperature and humidity control for flower cultivation.
