Media which reported about the joint editorial included Xinhua News of China, ITAR-TASS of Russia, Prensa Latina News of Cuba, Islamic Republic News of Iran, AP of the United States, Syria's newspaper Al Baath and BBC of the UK.

Political parties and organizations of different countries and regional and international bodies introduced the editorial through Internet homepages and bulletins. Among them were the Brazilian Communist Party, the Peruvian Communist Party, the Poland-DPRK Association, the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain.

Seminars, lectures and reading sessions took place in Pakistan, Sweden, South Africa, Mexico and other countries to study and disseminate the editorial.

Political parties and organizations of at least 70 countries released statements expressing full support for the editorial.
