The statement referred to the fact that the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea issued an appeal to all the Korean people on Jan. 28 and expressed full support and solidarity with it.

The statement expressed irrepressible resentment at the south Korean authorities who have justified the sycophantic and treacherous conservative regime and totally denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, swimming against the trend of national reunification.

Their treacherous moves to tighten the military nexus with the sworn enemies of the nation are unpardonable crimes as they lead to the extermination of the nation by letting the U.S. fish in troubled waters and pave the way for Japan's comeback to the Korean Peninsula, the statement warned.
