Pyongyang on Lunar New Year's Day
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- Pyongyangites enjoyed happy lunar New Year's Day.

An endless stream of visitors flowed to the statue of President Kim Il Sung on Mansu Hill, carrying floral baskets and flowers.

The Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition was crowded with visitors to see the immortal flowers.

Citizens visited their teachers, elders, relatives and friends to exchange lunar New Year greetings with beautiful flowers and bouquets bought at flower shops and stalls on streets.

Working people and school youth and children had folk games and sports and amusement games, conspicuously decorating the capital city on the lunar New Year's Day.

Citizens also enjoyed a pleasant time at the Central Zoo and the Taesongsan Fun Fair while performances were given at theatres before full house.

The Okryu Restaurant, the Chongryu Restaurant, provincial specialty restaurants and other catering centers served festive food, national and foreign dishes to stir up the festive mood.
