Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the National Coordinating Committee, said that Kim Jong Il performed undying feats by defending the dignity and sovereignty of the country and the nation and putting the DPRK on the position of a politico-ideological, military and scientific and technological power through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities and distinguished Songun leadership.

His Songun politics serves as an invincible banner and all-purpose sword of the Korean revolution, the chairman said, adding: The world progressives struggling for socialism regard the DPRK as the beacon of hope and extend support and solidarity to the Korean people in the drive to build a thriving nation.

Juan Campos Vega, chairman of the Institute, and other speakers praised Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary exploits.

They expressed their will to intensify the study and dissemination of the Juche idea, the Songun idea and thus contribute to significantly commemorating the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung as a holiday common to humankind.
