Story of Kim Jong Suk
|
|
Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- It was one day in November of 1945 that journalists of the Saegil Newspaper visited the lodging quarters where Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero, put up. They asked her to tell about the battles she fought to crush the Japanese imperialists. Noting that she had nothing to say particularly about herself, she told them about the outstanding strategy and tactics and combat methods with which President Kim Il Sung led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory. Upon hearing her, a journalist again requested her to tell about her own struggle. She responded to his request by saying that it was quite natural for the newspapers to carry stories about the President, adding that the history of the leader contained the stories about his soldiers. She urged the newspapers to explain well the line and policies of the President to powerfully encourage the masses to vigorously turn out in the building of a new country. That day the journalists were deeply touched by the personality of Kim Jong Suk as a great woman whose fervent loyalty to the leader was her inborn disposition. |
