Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, said that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started by President Kim Il Sung.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve miraculous successes in the drive for building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification this year, too under the experienced and tested leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The secretary general of the Romania-Korea Friendship Association noted that Kim Jong Il enjoys undisputed trust and boundless reverence of not only the Korean people but progressive mankind as he has defended the sovereignty of the country and led the human cause of independence to victory with his Songun politics.

He extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just cause of protecting the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the nation and the cause of socialism, building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting in Romania.
